Holiday Reading - Character Portrait

Mr Vampire son loves to try out new food. He would do anything to save his fruit tree because they are very special to him. He gets very angry  when things are put aside and put to waste. Mr Vampire son adores tasting new food, he likes to prepare all the ingredients of the cooking so it can be all ready.  

Vonda is very focused on her cooking. She makes unusual combinations, but all of her family adores her cooking. One thing she doesn't  like is when people are not enjoying her meals. Her dream was to be on television with a famous cook so she can share her cooking with everyone on the world. 

Vinny was always mocking Vonda's food, but really he was as eager as a tomato to try out her food. One thing Vinny didn't enjoy was watching Vonda cooking for a professional cook and he was not doing anything. He was a jealous type of  guy that wanted everything to himself.    

Mrs Vampire son was a great nurse. She would always be helping everything even if she didn't have time. Her dream was for the shark to have teeth since he was old, so she created it for him. One thing she didn't like was when people made a mess and didn't clean up. She would get furious. 

Baby Vampire son didn't enjoy anything else apart from flying around. He was always quiet and                                            didn't make noise. He was like a frozen, silent statue.

My body froze as I ran around searching for Easter eggs as we were having a Easter egg hunt. I could hear everyone sighing but eager to find the Easter eggs. I was so out of breath but I still wanted to search for more. I ran around my backyard, around my neighborhood and around my backyard again more than once.

I decided to make a timeline about the book I just read. I wrote down the time I read it and the day I read it.  I found this book easy. I need to challenge myself to achieve my reading goals. I found this book really easy, but there were some parts I didn't understand.

Holiday Reading - Sidekick

If  I had to be the sidekick, I would of let Vonda keep on cooking because it was her dreams to become a cook . She couldn't of left the other people in her family to go look for the huge teeth that Vonda's mum had made for the shark because he was getting old. I really think Vonda should of stayed and achieved her goals.

Holiday Reading - Rewrite the ending

Should I open the door or not? I wonder what these doors will open to. I hope it is a room owned by my mother. Creek! Creek! The door was so old I could hear all these cranky noises that sounded like giant footsteps. The room was filled with old historical books and furniture. I found this room useful out of all the doors I opened. 

The title of my book is Eight Keys.The author of this book is Suzanne Lafleur. This is a fiction book. My ending is better because I described some of my sentences, and added noises.
