Role of S.W.I.S

As part of my care awards one of the activities was to research the roll of the S.W.I.S company and how they are helpful in schools. This activity was under the Attitude award. I learnt that S.W.I.S stands for Social workers in school. The SWIS company helps other families in needs or are going through problems. They also help parents to get the right education for there child and to help them with school life events.

I read 3 novels ion a term for my care awards. I read my books and wrote a book review on it so I had proof when I went up to show my teacher. I enjoyed reading my books because it was interesting and there was some facts which made it more interesting.

#1 Care Awards ( Stan Walker )

This is my first completed care award activity. I had to complete a activity about Stan Walker's cover to the climb. I found out so much interesting facts about this song and where he sang this song. I chose this task from my gold confidence awards.

Pay it foward

I chose to pay it forward to my mum by cleaning up the house and doing most jobs she will do. I cleaned up he whole house, did the laundry, vacuum, made dinner and folded the laundry. My mum was so proud of me and so was I. 

Make Dinner

I made dinner for my family. I was really surprised how this dish turned out because it wasn't burnt. This was one of the actives in the care award booklet.  From this activity I have learnt that I can help others that do lots of hard work like my mum. 

Personal Passion

My personal passion is Art. Why?? I like art because you can do so many things with it and you get to be creative with what you are doing. There are lots of uses for art, such as putting them as display, making paper mache, sketching, painting, mosaics and much more.

Nelson Mandela

I chose Nelson Mandela for my respected leader for my care awards. I have learnt so many facts about him, like for example he loved his country and would do anything and he was the first ever president of South Africa.
