This is a family tree of New Zealand's and China's. You will see that china's one is so small compared to N.Z. In this DLO you will find out why.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Ms Kirkpatrick.

Thinking Grid
This is a thinking grid on some swimming questions. In this DLO you will find out about how you might get into trouble in the water and why it's important for New Zealanders to stay safe around water. It is important to stay safe around water because we live really near the water and we can drown.

Virtual Tour of Thailand
Here is a collage of Thailand pictures. I learnt how to use a picture online the right way. If you just copy the picture without acknowledging your sources you will be breaking the law. To use a picture from online you need to go on the images and on the top it will say more tools. Click on it, and press labeled for reuse so any picture there you are allowed to use it. Click on the page where the picture was from and it will tell who the picture was from and the license. This is important to know because people get there pictures from copying and pasting it. Now you know how to do it proply.

Shoes Narrative
This was my partners and I's collaboratively on our narrative called Shoe narrative. We had to find a partner and create our plan together. We then had to write our story in exact 15 minutes. When one person wrote a sentence the next person had to write the next sentence. I was learning to use my 5 senses to make my writing interesting.

This term our home learning is based on a character or a person. This week he person we got was Anne Frank. I worked collaboratively with my partner Nazella. What Anne frank did was really brave. In her diary she recorded everything that happened. In this presentation you will see a video of her diary.

6 Thinking hats
This is a presentation on Charlotte Anne. Charlotte anne was a normal lady. Back in those days women weren't aloud to do jobs like the men. Charlotte anne showed everyone that she is just as strong as men. I was learning to synthesize our knowledge of a topic to help us form a new understanding.
