This is my presentation of my word clines. I had to draw a line and create a word. As you are going up the word gets interesting. I think this would be helpful when I do my writing so I can improve more.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Ms Kirkpatrick.

Tech ( Art )
Today at tech we had to use our smart searching skills to find out the answers for what is a kahoa and what it was used for. I had fun researching about this as it also helped me learn about my culture.

Kaleidoscope Art
This is my kaleidoscope art. We had to arrange our letters and fold it so it could be symmetrical. We had to repeat this step and color it with pastel. I used cold colors for my letters and hot colors for my background. I enjoyed coloring and rearranging my letters in my name.

Stretching Sentences
This is my presentation about stretching sentences using the 5w's. I learnt how to turn my writing from stage 4 to a higher level by using when, where, why, what, who and sometimes how. I am going to use the 5w's more often to make it more interesting.

2016 Reflection
My reflection on 2016:
So far this year I have enjoyed being a year 8. Another highlight for 2016 is starting in a new classroom, Learning space 2 (LS2). What I like about the class room is we have lots of options to sit which means collaborating with new people and having a big space which would be helpful for collaborative work. I love the view on the balcony because you get to see the whole school and were close to the library which saves lots of time. Being a year 8 is a big privilege because we are the role models that the juniors look up to. Being in LS2 is so enjoyable because as we make mistakes we learn off them and try harder next time. What I really enjoy is we get to sit anywhere with our friends and meet new faces. Meeting new people is really building up my confidence. I am really looking forward to 2016.
