Yesterday the Year 8's went to have a session with Jeremy on get wise. Jeremy told us some really valuable facts on how to save money and to dont give up and be the best you can be. I learnt that there are always 2 crossroads, there is a easy path and a hard path. He also told us that be the best you can and if it is too hard then keep trying until you get there. I also found out that when you deposit money into your bank account the bank will actually reward you with money in your bank for keeping your money with them. Jeremy told us a really inspiring story on how he grew up living on the easy path and how his family struggled. He gave us some wrist bands that had 2 different sayings which were:
Spend some on you and save some too,
Spend to your needs and wait for your wants,
I think everyone could relate to this and everyone should really start spending there money wisely and start focusing on there education if you want to get your dream job.
